By accessing or using lingaga, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use lingaga.

Description of service

lingaga helps multilingual people maintain the languages they already speak, partly speak, or used to speak. Features may include onboarding, language selection, translation, vocabulary history, favorites, reminders, progress summaries, account management, and early-access communications.

Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use lingaga.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use lingaga for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Access another person's account or data without permission.
• Upload or enter content that infringes rights or violates applicable law.
• Use automated systems to access lingaga without permission.
• Store secrets, credentials, medical records, legal documents, or other highly sensitive content as translation history.

Your content

You keep ownership of text, profile details, selected languages, and other content you provide to lingaga. You grant lingaga the rights needed to process, store, display, translate, sync, and otherwise operate the service for you.

You are responsible for the content you enter. Translation output may be imperfect and should be checked before relying on it in important situations.

Language and translation features

lingaga is designed for everyday language maintenance and vocabulary practice. It is not a professional translation, education, legal, medical, immigration, or certification service. Availability and quality of translation features may depend on your device, operating system, selected languages, and third-party platform capabilities.

Third-party services

lingaga may use or integrate with third-party services, including:

• Supabase: Authentication, database storage, and backend services.
• Apple platform services: Native app features such as translation availability, notifications, and accessibility support.
• Google Analytics and Google Fonts: Website analytics and font loading where enabled.
• Netlify: Static website hosting and deployment.

Your use of these services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy and data use

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how lingaga collects, uses, and protects personal information.

Service availability

lingaga is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available for every language pair or device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, lingaga and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to lingaga if we believe these terms have been violated, if continued access creates risk for the service or others, or if required by law. You may stop using lingaga at any time and may request account deletion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as lingaga changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of lingaga after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms will be governed by applicable laws. Specific jurisdiction language should be reviewed and finalized before public launch.
